Sara Evans opened up about how she’s managed her joint pain and anxiety, and introduced a new way that she hopes to help others do the same. The country superstar is launching a new brand of CBD products, fittingly named after one of her biggest smash-hit anthems, “Born To Fly.”
“CBD [Cannabidiol] has helped me take control over my joint pain and anxiety and I am so excited to be able to help others who desire a natural path to wellness,” she said of Born To Fly — CBD by Sara Evans. “We were all Born To Fly, sometimes we just need a little help.”
Born To Fly — CBD by Sara Evans includes all-natural products made with U.S. grown hemp in Nashville, Tennessee, its website reads. Third-party labs test the products for potency and safety. Products include CBD oil and CBD roll-on, which can be bundled together. Evans teamed up with CeleBriDy Brands, based in Nashville, to develop the products, which include the country icon’s signature Strawberry Champagne scent, per a press release introducing the products on Tuesday (February 21).
“When I was eight years old, I was hit by a car in front of my family's farm,” Evans reflected in a statement on the Born To Fly — CBD by Sara Evans website. “I was thrown onto the hood of the car before landing in a grassy field along the highway with a concussion, two broken arms, and two broken legs, that left me tied to a hospital bed for six weeks. My arms and legs healed but I was left with severe PTSD and have dealt with pain issues throughout my life. CBD has helped me take control of the pain and anxiety, and I hope that it can help others who desire a natural path to wellness. We were all Born to Fly, sometimes we just need a little help.”
