Waterspout Turns Tornado in Florida

Dramatic video from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where a waterspout forms on the bay then moves ashore to create a tornado knocking out power and causing some damage on Sunday, April 22.

The video shows the waterspout forming, picking up tons of debris and throwing high in the air. You can see the debris falling out of the sky into the water below.

The waterspout then moves across the bay making a close call with a boat that was on the water. We then see the waterspout moving ashore turning into a tornado. It continues to pick up debris as it moved onshore, blowing trees and causing flashes from knocking out power lines.

There were no reports of injuries or death from this storm.
