Morgan Wallen's Son Indie Dresses As His Country Star Dad For Halloween

Morgan Wallen's 3-month-old son, Indigo "Indie" Wilder, is looking more like the country star every day!

On Tuesday (October 20), Wallen's ex-fiancée and the mother of their child, Katie Smith, shared a photo of the adorable infant dressed up just like his father. The snapshot features Indigo wearing jeans with a red sleeveless flannel. The costume is complete with an earring and a red mullet wig.

"My tea is sweet but honey you’re sweeter 🤣 Happy Halloween from lil Indie Wilder," Smith captioned the photo, referencing lyrics from Wallen's 2018 song, "Redneck Love Song."

The "Chasing You" singer welcomed his first child on July 10 in Nashville, Tennessee. At the time, Wallen said his son's arrival left him a "changed man."

"Since you came into the world Friday, I see mine differently now," Wallen wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of himself holding his newborn. "It's not just me anymore, and I'm glad it's not. This year has been the hardest of my life in so many ways, but that's not what I will remember it by. You are. You are a gift and this tough year just made sense."

"I’ll be the Dad you deserve as well as the co-parent your mother deserves," he continued. "Since you were born, I know that every decision I make will be with you in mind. I promise I’ll always protect you, and do my best to be an example of a good, godly man just like my daddy was for me."

Wallen has kept mostly quiet about his new life as a father since Indigo's arrival, however over the summer he did open up about how his own father has inspired him.

"I had a really good example of a Dad growing up and I really just want to be like that," he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "There's always a lot of sacrifices made for me and for my sister to make sure we were all happy, he always gave me a good example of how to treat my Mom. It's definitely changed the way I look at things."

Wallen most recently made headlines when his Saturday Night Live debut was canceled due to breaking COVID protocols.

"I'm not positive for COVID, but my actions this past weekend were pretty short-sighted and that have obviously affected my long-term goals and my dreams," Wallen said on Instagram, addressing the controversy. "I respect the show's decision because I know that I put them in jeopardy. I take ownership for this. I'd like to apologize to SNL, to my fans, to my team, for bringing me these opportunities and I let 'em down."
